Science Teacher - Secondary School - Wigan
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Wigan. This is an excellent long-term teaching opportunity starting ASAP and continuing until at least Christmas 2025.
The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, promote achievement, and encourage respect within the classroom. The school prides itself on creating an environment where every pupil is supported to reach their full potential through high standards, ambition, and a strong sense of community.
The role:
Position: Secondary School Science Teacher
Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Until at least Christmas (with potential to extend)
Contract: Full-time, long-term teaching role
The school are looking for:
A qualified Science Teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics).
A teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and raising attainment.
Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and engage students.
