About the Role:
A well-regarded secondary school in Bedford is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their strong department from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach General Science at KS3 and a science specialism at KS4, with the opportunity to deliver GCSE preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3/KS4
Adapt teaching to support pupils of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL
Track and monitor pupil progress, setting interventions where necessary
Contribute to curriculum planning and extra-curricular STEM activities
Requirements:
QTS and specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science
Strong subject knowledge and ability to motivate learners
