Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a fully qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed department where your passion for science can truly make an impact.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Teach across all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) or specialise in your subject area
Monitor and assess student progress to promote high achievement
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Contribute to the department's planning and wider school initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds
Effective classroom management and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
