About the Role:

You will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 science, with opportunities to specialise in biology, chemistry, or physics, depending on your expertise. What You'll Be Doing:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND and EAL
Use data to track student progress and plan effective interventions
Support students in preparing for GCSE science exams (AQA/OCR/Edexcel – depending on school)
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners thrive
Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive science department
Participate in CPD and contribute to whole-school initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in a science-related subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4 (NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply)
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for science education and student progress
Strong organisational skills and willingness to contribute to wider school life
