Are you a passionate and driven Science Teacher seeking a new role in the coming term? A highly regarded secondary school in the High Wycombe area is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This welcoming and forward-thinking school is recognised for its strong pastoral care, supportive senior leadership, and commitment to high academic standards. The successful Science Teacher will join a well-established department with excellent laboratory facilities and a shared focus on delivering engaging, practical science lessons that spark curiosity and ambition in every learner.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching available

Teach your Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) while supporting the wider department

Adapt teaching strategies to stretch high achievers and support students requiring additional guidance

Use data effectively to inform planning and raise student attainment

Lead practical investigations safely and confidently within a laboratory setting

Support intervention sessions and revision workshops ahead of GCSE examinations

Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to enhance curriculum development

The Ideal Science Teacher Will:

Hold QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification

Have experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting

Be an enthusiastic Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge

Demonstrate effective classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships

Show commitment to continuous professional development and whole-school initiatives
