About the Role – Science Technician
* Prepare, set up, and maintain equipment and materials for biology, chemistry, and physics experiments
* Support science teachers during practical lessons, ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
* Maintain an organised prep room and stock levels, ordering resources as needed
* Clean and safely dispose of laboratory waste
* Assist with demonstrations and provide technical guidance to students where appropriate
* Carry out routine maintenance and checks on laboratory equipment
Ideal Candidate Will Have – Science Technician
* A science-related qualification (GCSE, A Level, or degree in a science subject)
* Previous experience as a Science Technician in a school or lab setting (desirable but not essential)
* Good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
* Strong knowledge of lab safety and COSHH regulations
* A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach
* An interest in education and supporting students’ learning through practical science
