Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

🔹 The Role:
As a Science Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the science department. Responsibilities typically include:
Preparing and setting up equipment for practical lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Ensuring all materials and chemicals are stored and used safely
Assisting with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
Managing stock levels and ordering supplies when needed
Supporting teachers during practical sessions and promoting health & safety best practices
🔹 What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a school science department or similar lab-based role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of lab safety procedures and COSHH regulations
A proactive and reliable team player
Confidence with handling scientific equipment and chemicals
🔹 Desirable (but not essential):
A background or qualification in Science (A-Level, BSc, etc.)
Experience using stock or lab management systems
Knowledge of the secondary science curriculum
