Scrap Cutter / Burner - Oxy Fuel Cutting | £16ph | Thurs-Sun 06:00-16:30
Location: Scunthorpe
Pay: £16 per hour
Hours: Thursday to Sunday, 06:00-16:30 (10.5-hour shifts)
We're looking for an experienced Scrap Cutter/Burner to join our team on a key industrial project. If you have oxy fuel cutting experience and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Cutting solidified iron from the neck of a vessel
Using oxy fuel cutting equipment
Operating thermal lances (training provided if required)
Working safely in a heavy industrial environment
What You'll Need:
Proven oxy cutting / scrap burning experience - this is essential
Familiarity with hot work and safety protocols
Experience with thermal lancing is a bonus - we can train you if not
Physically fit and able to handle demanding manual work
A reliable, safety-conscious approach
Shift Pattern:
Thursday to Sunday - 06:00 to 16:30
4 days on, 3 days off - long weekends every week!
