Job Description

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Description As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a key role in enhancing the quality and reliability of a cloud-based treasury management system. You’ll work within a product squad alongside product, architecture, and commercial stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include supporting the transformation of a .Net Framework-based platform to a microservices architecture (.Net Core), while maintaining and improving high standards of quality. This role requires expertise in both software development and testing. You’ll independently design and implement automated test frameworks and tests, ensuring high-quality solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tests using .Net Core and C#, applying SOLID principles. Collaborate with colleagues to capture requirements in test strategies. Support the migration to a microservices architecture with a focus on test automation. Test large-scale distributed systems (microservices). Break down complex problems into smaller, testable components. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues from a quality perspective. Conduct code and design reviews with a focus on testability. Maintain technical documentation including test plans and reports. Continuously apply best practices in test automation and QA. Ensure platform performance and reliability. Promote Agile development practices including TDD and BDD. Provide mentorship to junior engineers. Requirements Strong proficiency in automated testing with .Net Core (experience with .Net Framework is a plus). Experience with Azure-based distributed microservice architectures. Skilled in implementing automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions). Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative problem-solving. In-depth knowledge of SOLID principles from a testing perspective. Effective communication skills. Familiarity with SQL Server and Cosmos DB in automated testing.
