Sea Freight Import & Export Coordinator | Bradford £27,000 – £35,000 (DOE) + Benefits Are you a sea freight professional who takes pride in seamless execution? We are partnering with a highly respected, stable forwarder in Bradford to find a Sea Freight Import & Export Coordinator. If you love the puzzle of global logistics and want the autonomy to manage shipments from start to finish, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities * Full Lifecycle Management: Orchestrate the end-to-end movement of sea freight import and export shipments, ensuring a smooth journey from booking to destination. * Carrier & Haulier Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and transport partners to secure space and reliable collections. * Customs & Documentation: Navigate the complexities of Bill of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and customs entries with total precision. * Client Service: Act as the primary point of contact for your customers, providing the proactive updates and expert solutions they rely on. * Financial Oversight: Manage job costing and invoicing to ensure the commercial health and profitability of every file. Requirements * Experience: 2+ years of experience in a UK-based sea freight forwarding role (handling both Imports and Exports). * Technical Skills: Solid understanding of ocean freight procedures and familiarity with platforms like CargoWise or MultiFreight. * The Mindset: A proactive, "solutions-first" attitude with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to thrive under pressure.
