Your Role
*
Support the Head of Science with curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental administration

Teach Science across KS3–KS4, and possibly KS5 depending on experience and preference
*
Lead whole-department initiatives such as science fairs, STEM outreach, and literacy in science
*
Mentor early career teachers and provide support with lesson planning and classroom management
*
Assist with data analysis and tracking pupil progress to inform teaching strategies
*
Promote a culture of scientific curiosity and resilience among students
Ideal Candidate

Qualified Science teacher with QTS, ideally with experience across multiple science disciplines
*
Strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach to leadership
*
Passionate about practical science and fostering student engagement

Ability to support colleagues through coaching and shared best practice
