Remedy is working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary PRU in Greenwich to recruit a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience or for those who are already experienced in supporting young learners.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to ensure they can access the curriculum and thrive within a mainstream classroom. You'll work collaboratively with teachers, the SEND department, and support staff to promote equality in education.
Key Responsibilities:
Help advance student learning in a variety of classroom settings
Provide targeted in-class support for students with SEND
Deliver 1:1 support to high-needs students as required
Promote inclusion and equal learning access for all students
Record behaviour, interventions, and meetings using SIMS and student files
Support students with physical needs, as appropriateThis role is ideal for those based in or near Greenwich, who are keen to work in education and training, particularly within a SEND environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant or working with young people (preferred)
Be patient, supportive, and passionate about inclusive learning
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be a team player who can also work independently
