Early Career Teacher - Secondary Schools - Sevenoaks, Kent area - September 2025 / October 2025 / January 2026
Term Time Teachers are proud to have worked with many ECTs throughout the years. We can offer many different types of roles to those who have just completed their teacher training. We work with lots of schools in Sevenoaks and surrounding areas (Tonbridge, Oxted, Maidstone) and can present you many work opportunities around your situation. Such as;
Completing your induction;
We work with many schools that would be happy for you to work through your induction year at the school. They will provide you with the guidance and support to complete your induction period. These positions often lead to a permanent contract.
Fixed Term Contracts;
Some ECTs would prefer to gain more experience in different schools before settling into a permanent position. Fixed term contracts can last from half a term up to an academic year. This gives you the chance to experience and learn what kind of school you like to work in the most.
Daily Supply;
Since opening in the year 2000, we have been supporting ECTs (at the time NQTs) looking to do daily supply. This option is particularly popular with ECT's looking to gain more experience, try different sectors and especially those that are looking to enhance their subject knowledge at the same time as working (e.g. ECT's studying a master's degree).
To work with Term Time Teachers as an Early Careers Teacher, you will have achieved the following in your career so far;
Successful completion of a teacher qualification, such as a PGCE
