📍 Location: Brecon
📅 Start Date: September 2025 - Ongoing Position
💼 Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Temporary
💰 Daily Rate: £166 to £200 (depending on experience)
🕗 Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
Prospero Teaching are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Brecon from September 2025. This is a full-time ongoing temporary role, with the potential for longer-term opportunities.
About the Role:
We're looking for someone who can deliver engaging and informative Geography lessons to students at KS3. You will inspire a love for the subject while ensuring strong curriculum coverage and excellent student progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
✔️ Have experience teaching Geography at KS3
✔️ Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons
✔️ Be enthusiastic and committed to student achievement
✔️ Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
✔️ Support a range of learning needs
Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
* Registration to the EWC (Education workforce council)
* Two recent and relevant references
* Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training (or willing to complete)
* Willingness to complete full vetting and registration with Prospero
