Secondary Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Bristol (BS11)

Start ASAP and ongoing in September
£95 - £120 per day, depending on experience
Full-time, Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm
Term time only
Accessible by bus 3 / 4 / 11 / 41 or free parking on siteA secondary Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be expected to
Work closely with classroom teachers to support the teaching, learning, and assessment of individual students or groups.
Ensure the students carry out curriculum tasks set.
Carry out intervention tasks to support students lacking confidence
Support student participation, behaviour, and engagement
Promote the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities to ensure equal and fair learning opportunities.What we look for in a Secondary Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Hold HLTA status or have extensive previous teaching assistance experience
Be capable of preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals, smalls groups or the class as a whole.
Experience of strong behaviour management within the classroom
