Job Description – What Does a Cover Supervisor Do?
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and age groups.
Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies.
Support students to stay on task and engaged during lessons.
Ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
Work closely with teachers and school staff to support daily operations.
Note: You won’t need to plan lessons or mark work—the class teacher handles that!
