Job Description
Progress Teachers are seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join a Leicester mainstream secondary school. The successful candidate will work closely with a designated group of pupils, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve both academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support for class teachers and the SENDCO.
Uphold the school’s policies, values, and ethos.
Demonstrate enthusiasm while promoting high expectations for pupils.
Deliver targeted support to students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Take part in CPD sessions to enhance professional skills for supporting students with diverse SEN or SEMH needs.
Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, demonstrating resilience and commitment.
Support the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of students.
