Pay Rate: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Secondary SEMH Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored education to students with SEMH needs. You’ll work within a supportive team to create a structured, engaging, and emotionally secure learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of Secondary SEMH Teacher:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons, with a focus on Maths (preferred).
Support students in developing both academic and emotional resilience.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external agencies.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
Foster strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Promote behaviour that supports learning and emotional well-being.
Engage in ongoing professional development and school initiatives.
Requirements of Secondary SEMH Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with SEMH students in a secondary setting.
Maths specialism is highly desirable.
Must hold a full UK driving licence with business insurance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A calm, patient, and empathetic teaching approach.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
