Secondary Supply Teacher
Location: Scarborough, Filey, Whitby, Bridlington, and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2025
Position: Flexible – Full-time or part-time available
Pay Rate: £130 – £180 per day
GSL Education is currently recruiting passionate and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to join our team for the 2025–2026 academic year in Scarborough and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re seeking regular supply work, part-time flexibility, or long-term placements, we have a range of opportunities available in supportive and well-regarded schools across the region.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Secondary Teachers (QTS or equivalent) across any subject specialism.
Strong behaviour management and the ability to engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Reliable, flexible, and confident in adapting to different school settings and expectations.
Enthusiastic educators who are committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Teachers open to general cover as well as subject-specific assignments.
The Role Includes:
Delivering pre-planned lessons or covering lessons in your subject specialism.
Supporting student learning in line with school policies and expectations.
Managing classroom behaviour in a calm, respectful, and effective manner.
Quickly integrating into new schools and building positive rapport with staff and students.
