Roles & Responsibilities
As a Qualified Teacher with TeacherActive, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons to classes in accordance with the curriculum.
Plan and prepare lessons, activities, and assessments tailored to pupils’ learning needs.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Provide clear feedback to pupils to support their progress and development.
Adapt teaching methods and resources to support all learners, including those with additional needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and curriculum planning.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) — ECTs are welcome to apply
Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils (11–16+) in your subject area
Excellent classroom management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach to teaching
