Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if appropriate)
Plan to engage and differentiated lessons that challenge and inspire
Monitor student progress and provide targeted support
Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and assessment
Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies to support pupils’ progress
Participate fully in the life of the school, including extracurricular activities
✅ Person Specification
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge and passion for your subject area
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices
Willingness to participate in CPD and continuous improvement
Desirable:
Experience teaching to GCSE level or beyond
Familiarity with UK national curriculum and current educational trends
ECTs welcome with full induction and mentoring provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
