Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a thriving Secondary School in Middleton, Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident professional looking to make a real difference to young people's education and development.
We are seeking candidates who have a minimum of one year's experience working within a UK Secondary School setting. Unfortunately, applicants without this experience cannot be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 support for students with SEND and SEMH needs, ensuring tailored assistance to help them achieve their full potential.
Managing challenging behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.
Supporting teachers within the classroom by being proactive, adaptable, and highly collaborative.
Assisting in the delivery of lessons and activities that engage and motivate students.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations.
Experience supporting students with a variety of needs, particularly those with SEND and SEMH.
A proactive and professional approach, with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Team-focused, with excellent communication skills to work closely with teaching staff.
This is an immediate start position, offering £90-£100 per day, with ongoing support from Tradewind Recruitment.
