Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant – Secondary Schools | Hemel Hempstead

• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in delivering lessons and helping students engage with the curriculum
• Work one-to-one or in small groups to assist students who need extra support
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and contribute to classroom activities
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student learning and well-being
Requirements:
• Experience working with secondary school-aged children
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students’ learning
• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different classroom environments
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
