Job Description
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Kirklees to recruit dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistants to support students in the classroom. Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, short-term roles, or long-term placements, we want to hear from you.
The Role
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with additional learning needs.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to help students reach their full potential.
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
Who We're Looking For

Experienced Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants.

Individuals with experience working with young people in educational or youth settings.
Patient, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Requirements
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Right to work in the UK.
Availability to work in schools across the Kirklees area.
