Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Llanelli from September. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils in both mainstream and ALN classes, including in-class, small group, or 1:1 settings. Assist with differentiated learning, helping pupils access the curriculum. Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in students. Work alongside teaching staff and the school’s ALN department to deliver inclusive learning support. Help to create a calm, engaging and productive learning environment. What We’re Looking For Experience working with young people, particularly in educational or care settings. A calm, patient and flexible approach. Confidence supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Good literacy and numeracy skills; relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential.
