About the Role: As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will be a key member of the school team, supporting students academically, emotionally, and behaviourally. The role offers a great mix of duties, and you'll be able to gain experience in different educational settings. Your responsibilities will include: * 1:1 support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), behavioural challenges, and academic needs. * Leading and supporting interventions for students who are struggling in certain subject areas. * Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and ensuring all students are engaged and progressing. * Helping students with their emotional wellbeing, encouraging self-confidence and personal growth. * Implementing the school's behaviour policy, promoting positive behaviour and supporting students in managing their conduct. * Being adaptable to different school environments and responding to the evolving needs of each school. Available Roles: * Long-Term: For those looking for a more stable role, we have long-term positions with schools that need consistent, reliable support. * Temp-to-Perm: Some roles may start as temporary assignments but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. * Full-Time: We are particularly keen to recruit full-time staff who are available for a consistent work schedule. About You: We are looking for candidates who: * Hold a UK Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Education, Psychology, or a curriculum-related field). * Have previous experience working in a school setting within the last 2 years. This could include tutoring, teaching assistant work, or other related roles. * Have a strong interest in education and a passion for helping students succeed both academically and emotionally. * Are adaptable, proactive, and able to hit the ground running in a variety of classroom settings. * Have the resilience to handle challenges and a commitment to providing consistent support to students. * Can confidently implement and support the school's behaviour policy. * Have a DBS on the Update Service and can provide two years of professional references.
