My client based in St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for a Company Secretary and Compliance Officer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Company Secretarial professional to join our UK practice. The role involves managing statutory compliance, maintaining company records, and supporting a portfolio of clients with share transactions, reorganisations, and corporate filings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file Companies House forms, maintain statutory registers, and manage incorporations.
Act as first point of contact for company secretarial clients and liaise with accountants, solicitors, and banks.
Support internal compliance, AML processes, and practice management systems.
Assist with client onboarding, billing, and engagement updates.
Skills & Experience:
2–3 years’ company secretarial experience in a UK practice.
Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and Companies House filings.
Experience with secretarial software (e.g., CCH) and managing multiple deadlines.
CGI (ICSA) part-qualified or qualified by experience desirable.
Personal Attributes:
Reliable, client-focused, and professional.
Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.
Strong team player with clear communication.
