Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of AMP8 work, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Section Engineer to support the successful delivery of wastewater and water treatment projects across the Lancashire region.
This contractor is recognised for embracing innovation and digital engineering, investing heavily in modern construction technologies, BIM and digital delivery systems to improve project performance. Key Responsibilities
·Support the Senior Engineer in the successful delivery of designated sections of wastewater and water treatment projects.
·Lead and coordinate Site Engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring engineering activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
·Oversee engineering activities including large earthworks, deep drainage, temporary works and reinforced concrete construction.
·Review drawings, specifications and technical information, resolving engineering queries and coordinating with the design team where required.
·Ensure quality assurance procedures, inspections and site documentation are completed in accordance with project requirements.
·Promote the use of BIM, digital engineering platforms and innovative construction technologies across the project.
·Work closely with the Project Manager, commercial team and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
·Previous experience as a Section Engineer, Senior Site Engineer or similar within a Tier 1 contractor environment.
·Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
·Strong experience delivering large civil engineering projects involving earthworks, deep drainage and temporary works.
·Experience managing engineering teams and coordinating multiple work fronts.
·Technically competent with BIM, digital engineering systems and modern construction technologies.
·Water or wastewater experience is desirable.
·Full UK Driving Licence.
