Job Description
We are looking to speak with you! I am working with an industry leading infrastructure service provider who are actively hiring for a section engineer for one of their flagship projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Report to the Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction to closeout.
Assist with temporary works design and liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labor, plant, and materials.
Manage the site setting-out team and oversee performance and development of Site Engineers.
Identify and resolve technical problems in collaboration with the Sub Agent.
Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Ensure the team has up-to-date information and resources for their tasks.
Assist in producing programs, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
Experience writing and preparing risk assessments and method statements.
Able to programme works up to 3-week look ahead.
Manage and mentor a team of site engineers and graduate engineers.
High focus on quality assurance in previous roles.
Experience with Fit Out and interface with MEP.
Working closely with the section Sub agent ensures the programme is valid.
Required Qualifications & Competencies:
HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures or drainage is essential for this role.
SMSTS or SSSTS.
CSCS White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor.
Full driving license required.
Must have their own transport to be able to attend site(s) in remote areas.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
