Job Title: Fire & Security Service Engineer (Subcontractor)
Location: North West London & surrounding areas
Contract Length: 6 Months (with strong potential to extend)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Overnights: Not required
Mileage: Paid mileage on top of day rate
Start: ASAP
Rate: From £275 per day (Outside IR35)
Overview:
V7 are recruiting an experienced Security Service Engineer to provide PPM and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites in North West London. The role is primarily security-focused, with work on CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems. Fire alarm servicing experience is desirable but not essential.
The Role:
Planned & reactive maintenance on security systems
CCTV servicing / fault finding (IP & Analogue)
Intruder alarm servicing
Access control system maintenance
Occasional fire alarm checks/service (if experienced)
Working across commercial sites—no hotels or residential work
Managing own workload, completing reports, ensuring compliance
Systems Experience (desirable):
CCTV: Hikvision / Dahua / Honeywell
Intruder: Galaxy / Texecom / Honeywell
Access Control: Paxton / PAC / Honeywell
Fire (desirable): Panels such as Gent, Advanced, Morley, Kentec

Requirements:
Strong experience servicing security systems
Ability to fault-find and work independently
Full UK driving licence & vehicle
Must have own hand tools & test equipment
DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
