Enterprise Systems Engineer (Embedded – Project Engineer Orientated)
Location: Central London (Embedded On-Site Role)
Salary: Circa £60,000 – £65,000 per annum (including travel package)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our client in a key embedded engagement team based in Central London.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of complex security and building systems within a prestigious client environment.
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of integrated systems, ensuring consistent high standards of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end systems ownership, including design support, commissioning, configuration, and maintenance.
* Technical leadership and support for Honeywell Access Control, CCTV, and Galaxy Intruder Systems.
* Commissioning, break/fix activities, and PPM verification on head-end systems.
* Provide technical assistance to stakeholders, ensuring best practice implementation.
* European travel for commissioning, setup, and system sign-off (up to 25% of time over the contract duration).
* Collaboration with project management and client teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in project-based systems engineering, ideally within access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
* Strong working knowledge of Honeywell systems and Galaxy Intruder technology.
* Excellent technical problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
* Ability to work independently on-site while collaborating effectively with wider project teams.
* Flexibility to travel across Europe for project commissioning and sign-off activities.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Working Pattern
* Based on-site five days per week in Central London.
* The client supports a hybrid working arrangement when project schedules permit.
Package
* Salary: Circa £60,000 – £65,000 (inclusive of travel package).
* Hours: 40 per week.
* European travel: Required for commissioning and system setup.
