Job Description

Our client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi skilled security Engineer with a warm a friendly personality to join a friendly and well-run team.

They have been established over 16 years and during this time have built up a loyal and enviable client base, built through a personable approach linked with great customer service that leaves our customers feeling valued, appreciated and listened to.

They value long term stability for our workforce and have minimal staff turnover as they do their best to make it an enjoyable work environment. There will be minimal micro-management if you are delivering your works, but there will be support given in the back office where required, and once your appointments are finished for the day – so are you!

The work planning is managed efficiently meaning no waiting around for your next appointment, and due to the local and close-knit geographical customer base – there will be minimal driving between appointments, ensuring you can be home at a sensible time and can achieve a better work life balance.

They can also offer some exciting career progression with the opportunity to progress into a senior engineer if you prove successful in the role.

The vast majority of your works will be servicing and maintenance, and 70% of the work is in high end private residential properties within 1 hour from Marlow.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of intruder, access control, CCTV & fire systems and will be responsible for the installation, and maintenance of these systems. You will be knowledgeable with both Nsi and SSAIB standards and be experienced working with security systems.

Responsibilities

  * Collaborate with contractors, and other engineers to integrate systems into building designs.

  * Perform routine service and maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.

  * Provide technical support to customers.

  * Prepare documentation including reports, manuals, and compliance certificates related to intruder, CCTV, Fire systems.

Skills

  * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

  * Ability to work with various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

  * Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on system design and implementation.
