Security Guard – Didcot

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)
Overtime: Available

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Security Guard to join our team in Didcot. This position involves working a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern covering both day and night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, visitors, and premises.

Key Responsibilities

  * Conduct regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas.

  * Monitor and control access to the premises.

  * Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.

  * Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.

  * Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment where required.

  * Ensure all security procedures and site instructions are followed.

  * Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

  * Liaise with site management, emergency services, and other stakeholders when necessary.

Requirements

  * Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License (essential).

  * Previous security experience preferred but not essential.

  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  * Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle incidents professionally.

  * Good observational and problem-solving skills.

  * Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.

  * Right to work in the UK.
