Security Guard Supervisor – Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE)
Location: Newbury
Contract: 6 Months (Initial)
Rate: £20.52 per hour (Umbrella) £15.54 (Pay-E)
Are you an experienced security professional with strong leadership skills? We’re recruiting a Security Guard Supervisor to join the Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) team. This is a critical opportunity to lead from the front in protecting high-priority assets and staff, while supporting national security.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage a team of Security Guards across a 24/7 shift operation.
Oversee security systems (CCTV, Access Control, IDS) and support their maintenance and integrity.
Conduct visitor risk assessments and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Provide resilience cover when needed and step in operationally during demand spikes.
Deliver internal audits and report monthly to senior management on performance and improvements.
Ensure all team members maintain SIA compliance and training standards.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a supervisory security role.
Strong understanding of threat responses and physical security procedures.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Valid SIA Supervisor Licence (or willingness to obtain).
Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel and work unsocial hours.
