Security Officer
Location: Erith, Kent
Salary/Rate: £12.30/hour
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Security Officer to be based at a busy commercial site in Erith. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and flexible security professional to join a well-established team supporting operations across a dynamic environment.
The role involves working a rotational shift pattern, including nights and weekends, with 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm and 6pm–6am). Due to the location and shift times, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
The Role:
*
Carrying out routine internal and external site patrols
*
Monitoring access control, including visitors, staff, and deliveries
*
Operating CCTV and other site security systems as required
*
Responding to incidents and maintaining a visible security presence
*
Accurately recording activity and compiling handover and incident reports
*
Liaising with emergency services when necessary
Candidate Requirements:
*
Valid SIA Security Licence (essential)
*
Minimum 2 years of relevant security experience
*
Strong communication skills and fluent English (spoken and written)
*
Computer literacy to enable the production of reports
*
Able to provide proof of right to work in the UK
*
Driving licence and own transport preferred due to location and shift start/finish times
Pay & Benefits:

£12.30 per hour

Full uniform provided

20 days paid holiday (pro rata)

Bank holiday cover paid as per shift rota
