Construkt RS are working with a well established and respected fire and security provider who operate in the Home Counties and Greater London.

They are looking for a Security Service Engineer to join there team on a permanent basis and offer a great service to clients across the counties.

Job Title: Security Service Engineer The successful Candidate will have the opportunity of progressing their career in an expanding and technical demanding Company.

Salary dependant on experience from £35,000 - 40.000 up.. + Door to door travel and Overtime

We are looking for 5+ years’ experience. It is essential that the Candidate is experienced in networkable security systems and can demonstrate the basic requirements such as port forwarding, managing IP conflicts and remote dial in connections.

The main aread of business is Monitored Intruder alarm systems and network IP CCTV systems.

Areas they cover: Geographical Areas: Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, London, Middlesex, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Suffolk. Preferred Areas: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, North London.

Customer base is varied covering: domestic, retail, commercial, schools, care homes. .

Job Description To service and install Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems. Trouble shooting and fault finding of these systems and if the occasions arise to install electronic security systems at our Customers' premises. You will be required to complete all paperwork, in accordance with the appropriate British Standard

The types of equipment we expect the Candidate to be experienced or familiar with are: Intruder: CCTV: Eaton Range, Pyronix, AJAX, Honeywell – Galaxy, Texecom, Mobile Apps. Hikvision IP / TVI, Concept Pro, Hanwha, AXIS, Pelco, DM, Adpro, Optex, RVR Solutions, IT Network literate Access Control: ACT, Paxton Net 2 & 10 , Hikvision, Salto. Door Entry: BPT, Paxton, Fermax, Videx - IP and Analogue External Lighting: GJD GUI: Monitoring: Standards: Hikvision Central, Cortech, Paxton RedCARE, DualCom, ARC / RVR, GSM NSI Awareness.

Basic Hours of Work Forty hours per week commencing at 08:30 with a 1/2 for lunch (Unpaid) each day to be taken between 12:00 - 14:00. The Candidate is expected to arrive on our Customer's site at 08:30 and not leave site before 17:00 unless other arrangements have been made for them.

The Candidate may from time to time be required to work additional hours in order to meet the needs of the business. Non-call out overtime worked will be paid at the rates as follows: Monday – Friday : basic rate of pay x 1.33 Saturday : basic rate of pay x 1.5 Sunday : basic rate of pay x 2 The overtime, travel and night working rates may be
