BMSL, one of the UK’s most experienced and compliant suppliers of personnel to the Construction, Mechanical, Electrical & FM sectors, is currently recruiting for a Security Supervisor to join a major project at Stansted Airport.
We're looking for a confident and reliable Security Supervisor to lead an on-site security team, ensuring the safety of all personnel and property. The role combines hands-on security duties with leadership and oversight responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day supervision of the on-site security team
*
Acting as point of contact for the Contractor Logistics Manager and Client
*
Ensuring all site-wide security procedures are followed effectively
*
Managing team rotas, holiday planning, and shift cover
*
Carrying out patrols and on-site risk assessments
*
Updating security assignment instructions and procedures
*
Overseeing cleaning and maintenance of vermin deterrents and traps across the welfare area
*
Liaising with logistics and resourcing teams to align security resources with site needs
*
Producing reports on personnel deployment and any deviations from plan
*
Ensuring team members are trained and briefed appropriately
*
Use of contractor-supplied vehicle for site supervision duties
Requirements:
*
Valid SIA Licence (essential)
*
Proven experience in a supervisory or team-lead role within the security or construction sector
*
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
*
Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-pressure environment
*
