We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Security Tutor to deliver high-quality training to learners within the security industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tutor with a strong background in the sector to play a key role in developing the next generation of security professionals.
The Role
As a Security Tutor, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing engaging training sessions in line with industry standards. You’ll ensure learners receive the best possible experience and are fully prepared to achieve their qualifications.
Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering comprehensive and engaging training sessions to learners across security courses
*
Assessing learners’ knowledge, skills, and progress against qualification standards
*
Providing one-to-one support, coaching, and constructive feedback to ensure learner success
*
Maintaining accurate records of progress, attendance, and outcomes
*
Supporting curriculum development and contributing to the continuous improvement of training materials
*
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and quality assurance standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification
*
Assessing qualification (e.g. CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent)
*
Conflict Management Level 3
*
First Aid at Work certification
*
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry
*
An up-to-date CPD log demonstrating ongoing professional development
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
A learner-focused approach with a commitment to quality and standards
Desirable Skills and Experience
*
Experience delivering funded training or regulated qualifications
*
Knowledge of awarding body standards and assessment procedures
*
Ability to use e-learning platforms and blended delivery methods
