Job Description
This is an established vape and convenience retail distribution business with an active network of local shop partners and a growing product portfolio. The business is currently expanding its reach and increasing the number of store relationships across Birmingham and surrounding areas. South Croft Partners is supporting the recruitment and onboarding process, as well as providing IT and operational support. While South Croft is facilitating the hiring process, the role will be carried out directly for the distribution business.
What You’ll Do
*
Visit local convenience shops and vape stores to promote our partner Dealer App.
*
Help the shop owner/staff download and register the app, and place their first promotional order (e.g., a half-price beverage campaign or similar).
*
Record each qualified app activation (download + registration + first order) for commission.
*
Take vape product orders and enter orders into the company system / Dealer App (simple training provided).
*
Collect products from the warehouse and deliver to shops.
*
Collect payments / provide reminders where needed and return the balance within 48 hours (after keeping your commission/profit).
*
Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat orders, upsell and cross-sell.
*
Keep a simple daily activity log (visits, activations, orders, payments).
Requirements
*
Own car + valid UK driving licence.
*
Motor insurance that includes Business Use.
*
Smartphone (Android or iOS) and confident using mobile apps.
*
Confident communicator; comfortable approaching new retailers.
*
Can work independently and hit weekly activity/conversion targets.
*
Experience in retail or field sales helpful but not required.
*
Able to follow UK rules for age-restricted products (e.g., Challenge 25, no sales to under-18s) and local regulations relating to vape products.
Compensation
*
Commission-only role; your earnings grow with activity and conversion.
*
Comission per qualified app activation (download + registration + first order placed through the app).
*
Vape product profit: you earn the margin above wholesale on each sale (kept by you at the point of settlement).
*
Typical combined earnings per store visit (app promotion + vape margin) average £10–£20 depending on conversion and order volume (not guaranteed).
*
Repeat customers = repeat earnings on follow-on orders.
*
Commission/profit is settled promptly and no later than 10 working days after customer payment is received by the company (where applicable).
