Cameron James Professional Recruitment is partnering with a high-performing, market-leading estate agency group across Reading, Wokingham and Newbury, seeking experienced Self-Employed Mortgage Advisors / Mortgage Brokers to join multiple established Berkshire branches.
These locations boast strong local presence, excellent footfall, and consistent estate-agency-generated leads. Property values across Berkshire typically range from £375,000 – £600,000, offering strong case sizes, dependable conversion rates, and excellent commission potential.
The hybrid model of 3 days in-branch and 2 days working from home ensures the perfect blend of structure, flexibility, and earning opportunity. With pre-qualified appointments, robust introducer relationships, and full administrative support, brokers can expect reliable business flow and high income potential.
Key Responsibilities
Working across Reading, Wokingham or Newbury, your main duties will include:
• Conducting full fact-finds and detailed client consultations
• Providing whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice
• Explaining product options clearly and professionally
• Managing applications through to completion with accuracy and compliance
• Liaising with lenders, underwriters, solicitors and estate-agency introducers
• Offering protection advice including life, critical illness and income protection
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and branch teams
• Maximising every lead opportunity to drive earnings and repeat business
The Ideal Candidate
You will excel in this Berkshire-based opportunity if you are:
• An experienced Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker (2+ years)
• Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
• Skilled across whole-of-market products and lender criteria
• A confident communicator with strong client-relationship ability
• Highly organised with excellent case-management skills
• Motivated, commercial, and committed to high earnings
• Familiar with mortgage sourcing systems and CRM platforms
