Job Description

Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with a secondary school in BS15 who are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to start at the end of September. The school want to give their students the best chance of success, so the individual must be, charismatic, inspirational and encouraging to the students that they will be working with. The academy values are dream big, work hard and be kind, and so these must align with the values of the candidate. This role will include work on a 1:1 basis as well as support across the class. The individual will be working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) students, and so, having previous experience in a UK school is desired. This vacancy has the opportunity to go permanent for the correct candidate. The successful applicant: Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills. Confident supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1. Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job. Benefits of working with Affinity Workforce: You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience.
