SEMH Primary Teacher -September 2025 - Wandsworth - MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance - Permanent * SEMH Primary Teacher required for a specialist SEMH school * Based in the London Borough of Wandsworth * Teaching a KS2 class (mainly Year 3) * Full-time, permanent role starting September 2025 * ECTs welcome to apply Are you an experienced Primary Teacher with a strong understanding of SEMH needs? Do you have excellent behaviour management skills and a passion for making a difference in a specialist setting? Or are you a mainstream teacher looking to transition into the SEN/SEMH sector? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! The Role – SEMH Primary Teacher * Delivering the UK National Curriculum to a small class of 9 KS2 pupils, predominantly Year 3 * Students have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs; one pupil has high-functioning Autism with 1:1 support * Lessons must be engaging, hands-on, and adapted to a range of ability levels * You will need to demonstrate resilience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to behaviour management * Prior experience in SEMH or SEN settings is desirable but not essential The School – Wandsworth * Specialist SEMH Primary School catering to students aged 5–11 * Most students are based within KS2 * Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with ‘Outstanding’ Leadership and Management * Clear and consistent behaviour and reward systems in place * Weekly CPD and access to an in-house training centre * Excellent transport links and easily accessible from surrounding boroughs To apply for this SEMH Primary Teacher role or to find out more, contact Fateha at Qualiteach today
