Your responsibilities will include: * Delivering engaging and accessible lessons across your subject specialism. * Building strong, professional relationships with students to encourage engagement and trust. * Supporting pupils to manage their emotions and behaviours positively. * Creating personalised learning experiences that meet individual needs and targets. * Working alongside pastoral teams, support staff, and external agencies to provide holistic support. * Celebrating progress and helping students develop self-confidence and independence. We're Looking For Someone Who: * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. * Has experience working with secondary-aged pupils. * Understands the challenges faced by young people with SEMH needs. * Can remain calm, adaptable, and solution-focused in a dynamic environment. * Is committed to inclusion and believes every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. * Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills. * Values teamwork and collaborative working. What the School Can Offer * Small teaching groups and a highly supportive staffing structure. * A leadership team that prioritises staff wellbeing and development. * Ongoing CPD opportunities focused on SEMH, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour support. * The chance to make a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable young people. * A welcoming and passionate team committed to improving outcomes for every learner. * Access to specialist resources and intervention programmes.
