SEMH Support Assistant – Primary School | Blackpool (FY1) Location: Blackpool (FY1) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term-Time Only) Start Date: November 2025 Pay: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience) Are you passionate about supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? Do you have the patience, empathy, and resilience to help pupils overcome challenges and thrive in the classroom? A welcoming primary school in Blackpool (FY1) is seeking a SEMH Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil who requires tailored emotional and behavioural support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact in a child’s life. About the Role: You’ll work closely with a pupil who has an active Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), providing consistent emotional and behavioural support throughout the school day. You’ll help them build confidence, regulate emotions, and engage positively with learning.
