The Role -SEMH TA
I am recruiting for an experienced SEMH TA to join an encouraging SEMH school in Enfield immediately. As a SEMH TA you will be working both 1:1 and in small groups with students ages 5-16 with SEMH and ASD which can be a challenge for them to understand. It is your role as an SEMH TA to be able to connect and accommodate to the needs of each individual child as some may differ to the level of difficulties they have. You need to be able to establish a good trusting relationship with your students and give a good mindset that their disabilities don’t hinder their ability to do what a child who doesn’t have SEMH/ASD, this also includes being proactive, fun and caring.

The staff promote core values such as acceptance, bravery, curiosity and determination which is effective to helping child’s who are behind with their SLCN.
