SEMH Teacher – Mainstream Primary School, Brierley Hill 🌟 Position: SEMH Teacher Location: Brierley Hill Contract: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: As soon as clearance checks are completed Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a commitment to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Our friendly mainstream primary school in Brierley Hill is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic SEMH Teacher to join our supportive team and work within our specialist SEMH base. About the Role This is a permanent teaching position offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need additional emotional and behavioural support. You will work closely with a small group of pupils, helping them to access the curriculum in a nurturing and structured environment, while promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. You’ll collaborate with the wider school team, parents, and external agencies to ensure each child receives the best possible support to thrive both academically and personally. We Are Looking For Someone Who: Is a qualified teacher (QTS required) with experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEMH needs. Has a nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to teaching and behaviour management. Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues alike. Is passionate about inclusion and helping every child achieve their potential. Works effectively as part of a team and demonstrates excellent communication skills.
