SEMH Teacher – Islington
Salary: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
GSL Education is looking for a SEMH Teacher to join a specialist provision in Islington. You will be responsible for teaching pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, often requiring creative and personalised approaches to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to SEMH pupils.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
Work closely with support staff to ensure all pupils are engaged and making progress.
Maintain detailed records of student progress and behaviour.
Requirements:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working with SEMH students is highly desirable.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
