The role – SEMH Teaching Assistant I am currently working with a mainstream secondary school in Enfield that is looking to appoint an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.The successful candidate will support students with social, emotional and mental health needs both in and outside the classroom, helping them to engage positively in their learning and reach their full potential. You will work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to implement tailored support strategies, manage challenging behaviour, and promote emotional wellbeing.This role would suit someone patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people who may require additional guidance and care. Previous experience working with SEMH students or in a PRU, SEN, or alternative provision setting would be highly beneficial.
