We are currently seeking dedicated SEMH Specialist Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary schools across Northampton. These rewarding roles involve providing tailored, one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs, helping them build confidence, develop positive learning habits, and achieve academic and personal success.
You'll work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a real difference in a child's life-whether that's helping them regulate their emotions, encouraging positive behaviour, or supporting their learning across the curriculum.
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting children with SEMH or additional learning needs (school or youth work experience desirable)
A calm, patient, and resilient attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for helping young learners succeed
