We’re looking for a superstar SEMH Tutor to join our friendly, supportive team in Reading!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting students with SEMH needs: This includes helping learners struggling with anxiety, low confidence, and self-esteem.
Designing and delivering bespoke lessons: You’ll assess, plan, and teach tailored schemes of work that truly fit each student’s needs.
Being a positive role model: You’ll create a safe, encouraging environment where young people feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Who You Are:
Experienced: You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR 5+ years of tutoring experience with SEMH students.
Empathetic: You know how to listen, build rapport, and adapt your approach to each individual.
Organised & creative: You can assess learning needs, plan engaging lessons, and measure progress.
Reliable: You show up, you care, and you go the extra mile.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
